I shot this video in the morning right before sunrise so it has some nice ambient lighting. This is my 2007 Christmas Display with 45,000 lights and 176 channels of computer control. Visit www.holdman.com/christmas for more info.
27 DIY Projects to Tell Stories, Hold Memories, and Celebrate Family Heritage
A book by Meg Mateo Ilasco www.mateoilasco.com.
As the second decade of the 21st century begins, we’re more compelled than ever to find refuge in our homes and personalize our living spaces with DIY projects that celebrate who we are and where we’ve been. In Crafting a Meaningful Home, Meg Mateo Ilasco shares 27 projects that tell personal stories and celebrate heritage, all easily created on a budget. Learn how to decoupage a plate with photos of a best friend; silkscreen upholstery with folk motifs; artfully display love notes; sew a teepee from a vintage quilt top; or create family silhouettes for a festive banner. Contributed by a hip cast of well known designers from across the country, the projects are, at once, nostalgic, sentimental, and modern. Clear instructions are easy to follow, even for beginning crafters.

Marcus Lyon has been pursuing his interest in development for decades, using both words and pictures to express his vision of the surrounding world. After studies in political science and leadership, Lyon began his life-long investigation into the issues surrounding globalization. His search has taken him around the world and led him to investigate subjects such as the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China), the mass migrations of the 21st century and, most recently, the ways in which we spend our leisure time today.

Actually I want to do some experiment with candle. Suddenly, an idea has been popped up in my mind! Then I did this and took the shoot. It took a lot of time to capture this photo. I didn’t get the perfect shot. Finally I captured it.

Politics is a news and political debate program broadcast by RAI2 for which we developed a program package and a set of animations for its set design.
The graphic mood and the general treatment refer to poster art and highlight the multiplicity of voices that come together in the show, referencing the different opinions and arguments voiced in each broadcast.

An animated short I put together for Eden Billy Simpson for his song “The Hood”. Inspired by L. Frank Baum’s classic book, the music video features a young man following a yellow brick road through Haringey in London. As he tries to find a way out of the city he meets some unusual characters. Watch out for the many Wizard of Oz references, some obvious, many hidden.
